Consultant Code Of Conduct

1. Professional Standards
Consultants must provide competent, evidence-based care within their licensed scope of practice and specialty.
Misrepresentation of qualifications, identity, or clinical authority is prohibited.
2. Patient Safety
Consultants must prioritize safety, escalate emergencies promptly, and document clinical decision-making clearly.
Unsafe conduct, impairment, abusive behavior, or deliberate protocol violations are grounds for immediate suspension.
3. Clinical Documentation
All consultations must include timely, accurate, and complete records sufficient for continuity of care and audit review.
Late or altered documentation without clear addendum trails is prohibited.
4. Communication And Respect
Consultants must communicate respectfully with patients, caregivers, and staff, using clear and non-discriminatory language.
Harassment, coercion, or exploitation of patient vulnerability is prohibited.
5. Conflicts And Integrity
Consultants must disclose material conflicts of interest and may not accept improper inducements affecting care decisions.
Prescription and referral decisions must be clinically justified and free from undisclosed financial influence.
6. Security And Platform Use
Account sharing is prohibited. Consultants must maintain strong credentials, MFA, and secure device practices.
Only approved platform channels may be used for consultation-related patient communication.
7. Enforcement
Violations may result in corrective action, temporary suspension, permanent deactivation, and regulatory reporting where required.
